Meet Merve 🎉 Insa's empathetic lawyer who takes all issues and challenges in stride.

Merve received her master's degree in law from the University of Oslo. With a particular interest in international law, she wrote her master's thesis on the culpability and evidence requirement in the genocide provision of the Rome Statute (ICJ Statute). During her studies, she worked part-time as a caseworker at the ID-jurist at Gatejuristen and the Norwegian Consumer Authority, and had a trainee period at Deloitte. In addition, she was a part-time employee at UiO, as a thesis advisor, colloquium supervisor and writing supervisor.

Merve is very interested in history, and enjoys exploring historical sites and buildings, and reading about historical events. She is also multilingual and speaks Norwegian, English and Turkish - and a little Kurdish!
